This is the maintenance item that decides whether a robotic mower keeps its main agronomic advantage. UF/IFAS Extension is specific: the small blades produce clean, precise cuts that reduce leaf damage, yellowing and turf stress — but "blade sharpness declines with use, so blades should be replaced every six to eight weeks during the growing season to maintain good cut quality." A dull robot blade tears grass every day instead of once a week, which is worse than a dull rotary mower, not better. On a long Southern season that is four or five changes a year, so buy in quantity. These are the genuine Husqvarna Endurance blades and carry 490 Amazon ratings, the largest sample of any blade set here. Third-party titanium-coated blades cost roughly half as much per blade and rate similarly; the case for OEM is fit certainty and not voiding anything on an expensive machine.
