This is the rare repair product aimed at the right mechanism. Dog urine damage is not an acidity problem, whatever the internet says — it is a concentrated dose of nitrogen and salts delivered in one spot, and the reason the grass dies is osmotic rather than chemical burn in the way people imagine. So a product that pairs seed and water-holding mulch with a soil amendment intended to move that salt load is treating the cause rather than covering it. Two things to keep in mind. Flushing the spot with plenty of water does most of the same work for free, and doing that within a few hours of the event prevents the damage rather than repairing it.
