As a live-capture trap for surface animals — raccoons, skunks, groundhogs, feral cats, armadillos — a sturdy 32 inch folding cage is a sensible buy, and the customer rating reflects that use. It cannot catch a mole. Moles are subterranean: they tunnel up to a hundred feet a day, feed on earthworms below the surface, and do not forage above ground where a baited cage sits, so there is no mechanism by which this trap encounters one.
