Our Verdict

The interesting thing about the O1000 LiDAR PRO is that it attacks the complaint every robot-mower owner discovers in week two: the machine mows the middle and leaves you the edges. ECOVACS builds a TruEdge trimmer into the mower itself, which is a genuine answer rather than a software promise. Navigation is HoloScope 360 — a 360-degree rotating LiDAR plus a 3D-ToF module — so like the LUBA 3 it maps without wire and keeps working where satellite positioning degrades; ECOVACS also publishes what most makers will not: mowing efficiency of about 120 m²/h in Delicate mode and 180 m²/h in Efficient mode (roughly 1,290–1,940 sq ft/hr), which lets our simulator run it at its real documented pace. The honest limits are size and slope: a quarter acre and 45% put it firmly in small-suburban-lot territory — this is not a LUBA competitor, it is an i110n competitor with better sensors and the edge trimmer, at a higher list price. Its 1.18-inch floor technically reaches low-cut territory on a small bermuda lot. The spec table itself prints no working-area figure — the quarter-acre rating comes from ECOVACS's own retail listings — and as a new model its review base is thin. If your lawn is small, flat-ish, and your real complaint about robots is the edging lap, this is currently the most direct answer on the market.
