Mechanically this is the same category as the cheaper option above, with two differences that matter if your lawn is bigger. It reaches 4,500 sq ft rather than 3,600, and flow, width and range all adjust independently — so you can narrow the pattern for a side strip without also shortening the throw, which the simpler sprinklers cannot do. If your lawn fits inside a 3,600 sq ft footprint, save the money. If you are otherwise moving a sprinkler three times per session, the extra reach and the flow control pay for themselves in fewer placements and less overspray onto fences and paths. Same caveats as every hose sprinkler: water early, and measure the output once with cans rather than trusting the box.
