Vegetable Planting Timing

When do I plant this where I live?

Almost every planting date published for vegetables is written as an offset from the last spring frost or the first autumn one — start seeds six weeks before, transplant two weeks after, sow the last succession six weeks before. That makes the date useless without the frost date it is measured from, and those differ by six weeks or more across the states. These guides carry the offset and read the frost dates from our own per-state research.
